The Challenge
Duke was tasked with designing a versatile food service platform allowing a c-store to execute in hundreds of existing and new stores with varying space constraints from 15’to 22’.
The Solution
Duke created modular workstations to function in the minimum amount of space required to do the job, fitting within the 15’ available at all stores. Using our FlowMetrix process, Duke introduced vertical solutions into the space, minimizing horizontal and linear layouts of workstations. This allowed the client to utilize identical workstations across all locations, creating consistent workflow and training processes. Employee satisfaction also grew as employees enjoyed workstations that were custom built for their job.
